Dreams and What They Mean

For many people, dreams don’t matter to them very much. These people usually forget what they dreamt about as soon as they wake up. Other people cannot escape the stressors of life even in the sanctuary of unconsciousness. For others, dreams are extremely vivid and fantastical. These people may find themselves relating their dreams to spiritual or otherwise symbolic meanings. Some people wish to psychoanalyze their dreams for hidden truths about themselves. Others would rather not.In Dreams and What They Mean, Matthew E. Austin boils the human experience of dreaming down to its most emotionally honest state, niche low-budget indie diary comics. Through an unconventionally matter-of-fact portrayal of dreams, his graphic dream journal invites readers to pause for a moment and take in the intrigue of dreams alongside their mundanity, rather than in opposition to it.
